LTIMindtree’s CEO reported a major shift in the industry. Companies are no longer just "trying out" AI; they are signing massive "AI-native" deals to completely redesign their business processes around autonomous agents.

The pilot phase appears to be over. In 2024 and 2025, many large enterprises were content with "copilots" assisting humans. Now, the demand has shifted towards "agentic workflows"—systems where AI is the primary actor, and humans are the reviewers.

This structural change in IT service contracts indicates that AI ROI is finally being realized at scale, enabling faster decision-making and operational efficiency that traditional outsourcing models cannot match.
